Search Engine Optimization: Helping others find your business!

Professional Search Engine Optimization for your Charlotte or Gastonia business is only a phone call away.

Too many websites are designed and built with no thought of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). No matter how well these sites are designed, their chances of being ranked well by the search engines is minimal. So the owners of these low performing sites will turn to a SEO professional to try to improve their website's standing in the search engines.

...if the SEO isn't built in from the beginning, revising the site to perform well will require a tremendous amount of editing and alteration...

Unfortunately, if the SEO isn't built in from the beginning, revising the site to perform well in the Search Engines will require a tremendous amount of editing and alteration. Ask any seasoned SEO expert and they will tell you many sad tales of brand new, expensive websites that required a complete redesign in order to be found in Google, Yahoo or the other engines.

Does your designer really know SEO?

Unless a designer is well versed in SEO tactics, it is unlikely that he or she will create a site that will rank naturally in the search engines. At best, the site simply will rank poorly, providing very little traffic and sales. At worst, a designer who is unaware of the latest search trends may actually create a site that is penalized or even banned because of unsanctioned techniques.

The practice of search engine ranking never stands still. Because so many people invest so much time attempting to trick the engines into giving their sites an undeserved high ranking, all search engines keep their methods of determining positioning a closely guarded secret. Even more importantly, engines such as Google continually tweak and change their secret formulas in order to stay one step ahead of the spam artists.

SEO mistakes can be fatal

The unfortunate consequence of all these secret modifications in that often an inexperienced designer or site owner unintentionally gets caught in the crossfire. They weren't attempting to spam the search engines, but they made an innocent mistake that seriously hurts their ranking. Because the formulas change constantly, what worked last year many cause problems today. Something that was considered perfectly acceptable six months ago may cause severe penalties tomorrow.

Unless you are well versed in the ways of SEO, trying to navigate the the path to search engine success is like entering s dense forest without a guide.
